Hear from Survivor, Felicia Cukier

Felicia Cukier was born in Warsaw Poland.

After escaping from the Warsaw Ghetto she lived with false papers in several locations and managed to hide in plain sight among the Polish people. As a young girl, Felicia and her sister, Ruth left Poland in 1947 for London, England.

Their mother followed the year later.  They are the only members of her family who miraculously survived the Holocaust.Felicia lived for many years in Montreal and since 1979 calls Toronto her home.

For the dead and the living, we must bear witness.
~ Nobel Laureate and Holocaust Survivor Elie Wiesel
