Youth programs at Holy Blossom Temple are often, dynamic, and diverse. Our youth are our tomorrow. And, they are simultaneously our today!

See below for a complete listing of all our Family and Youth programming, and learn how you can get involved!

Find Your Place

Our youth group for all students in Grades 3-5.

YEAH provides monthly activities for our students both in and out of our building, as well as opportunities to take part in Temple events together.  YEAH is a great way to spend time with your Holy Blossom friends, and make new friends!  Have an idea for an activity you’d like to do?  Let us know, and we’ll make it happen!

Join the mailing list at [email protected] to get information about monthly events and Temple activities YEAH is a part of!  Non-member friends are welcome. Contact: Lisa Isen Baumal, [email protected] 416-7879-3291 ext. 242

JVC offers a combination of age-appropriate social events, as well as an opportunity for students to participate in monthly Social Action/Hands-on Mitzvah programs: HOME (hands on mitzvah experiences). HOME events take place on the first Monday of each month, at 5pm, prior to Senior School.  These are opportunities for students to get a hands on ‘taste’ of what doing mitzvot is all about, and these experiences can count towards their Shaarei Kehillah B’nei Mitzvah program.  Join the mailing list at [email protected] to get information about upcoming events, or contact us if you have an idea for a great Mitzvah project! Non-member friends are welcome.  JVC students are also eligible to participate in some high school events.

(part of NFTY-NEL – North American Federation of Temple Youth)

HABSTY is a great way to gain leadership experience and training, network and meet other Jewish teens from across the GTA and into the USA.  HABSTY is Holy Blossom’s link to NFTY – the URJ’s Youth Movement.  In addition to weekly lounge nights on Mondays, and participation in Temple events and celebrations, HABSTY’s teen board organizes their own monthly programs and events, and gets together with youth from other local synagogues.  HABSTY members also participate in NFTY-NEL (North Eastern Lakes) regional events, which include weekends at camps, and cities throughout Ontario, and parts of the US.  Register to get on the email list and receive details on upcoming events. Regional and North American NFTY programming requiring HABSTY membership.
